Blood sugars: Daily physical activity is very important. Have you considered seeing a nutritionist, to teach you about making proper food choices?

Borderline diabetes: Most important will be to get established and follow with a doc. Checking your BS at least once daily will be needed. Diet and physical exercise, specifically weight loss if overweight will be critical as you might keep diabetes at bay for a while. Typical long term complications of diabetes are as serious as blindness, gangrene and renal failure and tight control is the only way to avoid them.

Exercise & Wt loss: If you exercise at least 30 minutes each day and lose 5-10% of your body weight, more if you are overweight, you have a better than 50% chance of avoiding progression of disease. Wish you good health!
