A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eustachian tube: The symptom arising that way points to a small tube that connects the back of your throat to the middle ear. It allows air to get in and middle ear mucus to drain. Yawning and swallowing straighten the tube & if narrowed by allergy or illness air can pop in and cause the ear discomfort. No drops can fix this. This can be an early point in an ear infection. Have it evaluated.
