Need to see a doc: Increasing pain for three days plus and difficulty swallowing and drinking are symptoms that need to be evaluated asap by your primary care physician. Treatment will be based on the diagnosis of the cause. Untreated, you could really wind up being in a very compromised situation.

Sore throat when drinking water, swallowing. Ear also hurts when doing this. Otherwise it just feels irritant not painful. Only right side. No symptoms eating. X-ray showed nothing. Like this for 8 weeks. What other test to discuss with doctor?
