I have been experiencing swimear's ears since the beginning of the year. the ear drops cilodex make the pain worse. whenever i go to the ent it gets slightly better after my ear are cleaned but i still haven't been able to get a hold of a cure?

You may need an antibiotic by mouth in addition to eardrops. Continue to work with your ENT doctor, to confirm that continued infection is causing your symptoms. If so, ask about 1) culture to be sure of the cause and which antibiotics would work best and 2) possible referral for consultation with an infectious diseases specialist. Good luck.
