Common more common: This is the size and features of a common reactive lymph node. They are usually pea sized at rest & enlarge with their normal work activity. They act to sift through body serum and remove particles of foreign protein like that caused during illness, bug bites or skin irritation. They enlarge & later shrink over a 3-5 wk cycle. The features you describe are not worrisome.Your doc can confirm this.
