Hydroxyzine: is a SEDATIVE ...(belonging to the anti-histamine family of medications) and IT DOES NOT "MIX" with alchol...If it is not helping ...stop it and wait at least 6-8 hours before using ethanol....then speak with your PCP about another anti-anxiety medication or a mental health referral....Hope this is helpful!!
