Inguinal nodes: Prominent inguinal lymph nodes are not unusual and may be remnants of prior inflammatory processes. However these old burnt out nodes should not be large, increasing in size or new lymph node enlargement occurring. An examination of your neck and armpits should be done to look for other lymphadenopathy and a complete blood count and mononucleosis test would be done also. Discuss this with your MD.
