Not personally: I have not taken st. John's wort, but good research shows it's effective for mild to moderate depression. Results depend also on product used, including standardization and reliability of contents. http://www.consumerlab.com/ is a very helpful site to learn about specific products which have been tested. I have been treated homeopathically for a bad ptsd, and the results have been profound.
