Reevaluate work 1st: If you are depressed due to work, antidepressant medication may not be all that helpful. Antidepressant medication isn't addictive although some cause enough dependency that you can't stop them suddenly without withdrawal symptoms. That is similar to seizure or blood pressure medications which also should be tapered down and off. Solve your work problem first. You may not need antidepressants.
