Possible: If you have an open sore or bleeding sore in your throat and if the depressor has hiv infected blood on it then you can get hiv , but if no open sore in your throat then there won't be any blood to blood contact and no infection will occur. If in doubt a week after exposure you can take nucleic acid , 2 weeks after p24 antigen, and 3 weeks after exposure antibody tests to find out if infected.
