Furry coated tongue for 5 months. i was under extreme stress. thought i had got hiv from receiving oral sex. ive had a 10 week & 6 month neg 4th gen blood hiv test. noticed tongue 1 month after exposure. also had lump in throat feeling. what is it?

"Coated tongue": Any mucosal surface ( oral, genital, rectal) can acquire a yeast infection (fungal). This is treated by oral medications , usually "over the counter". See your healthcare provider for an exam to be certain.
