Should get checked: The problem in the world is that not everyone is truthful-- how do we know for sure your partner was negative? I am concerned you have a pharyngitis but it could be one of any number of infections. Acute HIV can look just like "a sore throat" so I hope u can see a doc. Of course you could just have mono, Strep or another virus but testing for HIV is very important. Your doc can sort it out I hope
