Coughing: A strep throat infection usually presents as significant throat soreness rather than cough. If there's any doubt a quick screening throat culture can be done. Cough is more apt to be the onset of a viral upper respiratory tract infection. Lump in throat may be the beginning of associated throat infection. See your MD as needed.
