Exam: difficult to say if this is an enlarged tonsil, adenoid or growth without an examination. I suggest a thorough exam and evaluation.

Infection: It is likely an infection of the throat or nasal cavity producing a posterior nasal drip. Allergic posterior nasal drips also possible. Try over the counter anti-histamines for a few days, if it doesn`t get better go to the Dr.

ENT: It is important for you to consult with an ENT doctor to assess, what if anything the lump in your throat is. It could be a post nasal drip, enlarged tonsil to a tumor or growth which is more serious. Do it asap.
