Conservative: The majority of them are treated conservatively and dont require a brace. It depends on the fracture pattern very rarely is cement augmentation (kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty etc) is needed for patients with unrelenting pain.

Conservative: Initial treatment is conservative including pain control and physical therapy. If this fails after a few weeks, then a kyphoplasty could be indicated.
