It is VERY unusual: for a 28 yr old to have multiple compression fractures w/out trauma. There has to be an underlying medical cause, & likely not just osteoporosis (see your PCP). Make sure you don't just have Scheuermann's kyphosis, which a radiologist might mention on a report as compression fractures, when it is actually the normal shape of the vertebra. Typically there is about 3 to 5 consecutive wedged vertebra
