Stop smoking: The obvious step is quitting smoking which is a common cause for chronic bronchitis (emphysema as well). The next issue is whether you need an antibiotic for your sinusitis which can cause your cough.

I don't get any relief from fluticasone sprays in post nasal drip (oral antihistamines work) which means I am steroid non responder. Does it also mean I will be non responsive to oral steroids like prednisolone if ever taken for any medicalcondition?
I have tried fluticasone and mometasone furoate nasal spray for 2-3 months many times. but no relief at all in my post nasal drip. whereas antihistamine like cetrizine/loratadine relieves symptoms immediately in a day or so. why my body is like that?
