Nasal saline spray used prior to the nasal steroid treatment is often effective in reducing symptoms. Identify triggers associated with your post nasal drip and avoid if possible. Avoid smoke exposure. Oral steroids may be prescribed as indicated by your physician. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and cough.
