Those are NOT common symptoms of malignant disease of the GI tract. You should patiently wait for the colonoscopy and I hope GI doc can determine the cause of your GI symptoms but bowel cancer is very unlikely. Good luck!

Generally, cancer of the colon and small bowel do not cause symptoms such as these. It sounds like your doctor has done a good work up so far, and I agree that a colonoscopy seems to be a logical next step. I would not worry about cancer, but I would follow through with the colonoscopy as scheduled. Good luck.
