PCOS & periods: Patients with PCOS have notoriously irregular menstrual cycles. However, a period within 90 days spontaneously is best if pregnancy is not in the offing, and if not, most GYN MD's would consider inducing a period with hormonal medication to decrease the risk of future endometrial cancer. Talk to the GYN MD who performed the D & C about this matter.
