Hernias: Yes, it is ok. If you have a fresh incision and the stitches are still holding the wound together, I would wait until the wound is healed and the stitches are out.

Incisional hernia: If the skin is closed then getting the area wet should not be an issue. If your c section scar is open or the surgery was recent then you will need to wait until you are cleared by your surgeon. A general surgeon should evaluate the hernia and determine if surgical repair is needed
