I had a hernia as a child & if i ever have kids & have to have a c- section, will i be cut in the same place since it left a scar ?

Hernia and c/section: If you had an inguinal hernia(hernia in the groin) or a umbilical hernia (hernia around your belly button) then unfortunately they would not go through the same scar. Typically the c/section scar is right above your pubic bone. Generally the OB keeps it small and in a spot that would be hidden by a bikini.

Maybe: Usually hernia scars are farther toward the groin compared to a horizontal incision made for caesarian section. Caesarian incisions can also be made vertically in certain circumstances as well. Most women with uncomplicated pregnancies have normal vaginal delivery, so hopefully you would fit into that category when the time comes. Good luck!
