How is umbilical hernia recovery compared to csection recovery. Have 5 kids under 7 and no help. Can surgery be done with local not general?

2 weeks, local OK: Recovery from umb. hernia repair is about 15 days in most cases. That would be no lifting more than 10 lbs and no physical exercise except walking. Can be done with mild sedation and local, and I have performed this using just local in a trim, motivated patient. Good luck.
