My 11 yr old son has had a temp of 38c for two days, how to break his temp?

Why bother: Such a low grade temperature is likely just a reflection of a minor illness. it helps healing by increasing heart rate & breathing to move the bloods healing elements around the body. Fever by itself does no harm. I would ignore it unless it suddenly climbed & his condition worsened, suggesting a worrisome change in the illness.
