My 11 yr old son has a temp of like 101. he says he feels fine. acts fine. he just felt hot he said. what could that be?

Infection: Infections are usually the culprit of fevers. There are viruses and bacterial. The former are very common, and often supportive care with tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin, rest, and staying well hydrated will improve the symptoms. A bacteria infection would require antibiotics as well. Best to get evaluated if the fever persists. Good luck.
