No and yes: Lab tests always have to be interpreted in a context. If you told me that you were seeing all yellow and green it might seem puzzling. Oh, did I mention that I just got a new pair of yellow/green sun glasses or that a previous doc had raised my dose of digitalis (for heart failure). History is almost everything in medicine. 90% of diagnoses are made on the basis of hist and physical alone.
