My child found earbud and used it. she was screaming with pain and bleeding from the ear but the bleeding later stopped. i gave her calpol for pain and right now seems fine and playful but am worried about infection. will she get an infection?

Hard to say: The infant ear canal turns a slight corner, so it is more likely the bleeding came from a scratch in the canal than the ear drum. However, the only way to know is to have her examined. A hole in the eardrum changes the whole dynamic. Some will self heal over time but some require repair. I am less worried about infection than I am about her ear drum.
