May need visit: Pain within the ear mechanism is often from a stretch of the ear drum. This can occur if the Eustachian tube that drains the middle ear is not working & air is not present, which pulls the eardrum in, or if there is infection pushing it out. Either way it would be a good idea to have the kid examined to see if there is an ear infection or other treatable issue.
