A member asked:

Diagnosed with macular pucker in 2014. recently had an exam by retina specialist. was told pucker got a little bigger but nothing can be done for it. he also told me to come back every 6 months. what's the point if nothing can be done for it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Treat if worsens: Small retinal puckers are common and don't require treatment. If they enlarge however, treatments are done, so that is why they follow you.
