Can uti be transferred from wife to husband?

Possibly: Urinary tract infections are infections involving the urine and bladder where the penis is not really exposed to unless there is urinary leakage during sexual intercourse. Although it is possible to transmit sexually, it is unlikely. Vaginal infections, however, can be transferred via sexual activity.

No: It is very unlikely a UTI could be transferred from female to male. The male urethra is about 4 times longer than a female urethra and with each urination, a mechanical washing of the urethra occurs that prevents bacteria from ascending into the bladder.
