Should be ok if...: If a person had no problems taking medications such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) or naproxen (Aleve) on separate days in the past, she should not encounter any problems switching from ibuprofen to naproxen 5 hours after taking ibuprofen. Both ibuprofen and naproxen can irritate a person's stomach.
