Hi. my son was born premature at 34 weeks, we got discharged and are two weeks old. my first check up went well although dr said my son was colicky and advised that i buy him colic drops. i use telament drops and gripe water but nothing seems to work?

Unexplained crying: By definition it is not due to illness or defect.Frequency peaks @ 6wks. Often attributed to tummy pain there is no proof, though many get gassy if they cry that much.It often disappears as baby begins to roll over & entertain themself. There is no evidence that any treatment alters the pattern.People do what they can, then put on the ear phones & take a break. Thankfully it will pass.
