Massage duct: As important as the drops prescribed is that you also massage those tear ducts. Your baby likely has partially blocked ducts, a very common newborn problem. If you don't routinely massage them, the blockage and subsequent drainage will just keep recurring. Put pinky in corner of eye by bridge of nose and gently massage in small little circles for a minute. Repeat frequently during day.
