Nasal wash: Air pollutants including dust, fragrance,cleaning fumes,etc aggravate the problem. Nasal saline is the most specific and helpful aid to rinsing the irritants off the inside of the nose where it causes swelling and drainage. It must sometimes be used aggressively to provide adequate volume to thin secretions & improve airway function.Eliminating the offending irritants are the long term solution
