The kidney: contains TWO types of tissue..TUBULES which collect the urine and GLOMERULI which FILTER the blood making the urine/ Everything is SUPPORTED by parenchymal tissue. Usually the term refers to the glomerular tissue. Hope this helps! Dr Z
