See a Nephrologist: This is a non specific finding that just indicates presence of possible chronic kidney disease (ckd). See a nephrologist who can determine why this happened and suggest a course of treatment.

Renal parenchymal dz: Renal parenchymal disease is a phrase usually listed in reports from imaging studies, it is an imaging finding. If you truly have an imaging abnormality it does imply having chronic kidney disease (ckd). With only the phrase renal parenchymal disease, we can't guess on what stage of CKD a person has or the cause of the damage. You need to know what the cause of the abnormality is to treat it.

Here are some ...: KUB allows Doc to see the configuration & shape - smooth or irregular - of the kidneys; renal US may further confirm the thickness & tissue texture of solid part of kidneys. Together, both give Doc some impression if there has been some prior kidney damage by infection, obstruction, stone, inborn defect, etc. in the kidney. Of course, such findings have to correlate with history + kidney function.
