Healing time varies: Simple fractures that are not separated typically take 6 to 8 weeks to heal. The tibia is weight bearing however and if the bone is not lined up correctly it can take much longer and possibly require surgical plates to allow it to heal properly. Your orthopedic surgeon will be able to give a much more individualized answer.
