Need photos : Really need to ask your treating ORS obviously. If the arthroscopic 'photos' show true'boneon bone' changes( outer bridge grade4) then this would be not good.Microfracture can be effective for the patella( in my experience) if the chondromalcia area is relatively small , you have no trochlear('kissing ' lesions) and u are not overweight.
