First : First of all "re-break"is misleading. It confers the image of your doctor with your arm across the table twisting your wrist. The general term is osteotomy which means to surgically cut the bone and realign it many fractures heal with the joint in great position but the area near the joint with some exttra or raised tissue. This is not typically a problem if the alignment of the fracture is off it depends upon how much and how far off it is. No matter what be certain that when you go back , to see your doctor, liley xrays will be taken and a discussion will follow. It can take at times a year or two for certain symptoms to go away after a wrist fracture. So do not make any assumptions of surgery being needed yet often therapy and time makes a huge difference.

If : If your wrist is otherwise functioning ok and there is a relatively pain free and symptom free bump then it is unlikely that your doctor will re-break it, but you should see him/her nonetheless just to see what's going on. It may very well be some scar tissue or extra bone that won't cause a problem, but get it checked out. Best of luck.
