Controlling behavior: You need to decide what you want to do. You can either reward bad behavior by complying with special food requests, which will lead to more such behavior. You can reward him/her for eating other nutritious food. You can offer what you wish and let him/her decide when they are hungry enough to eat. A consultation with a child behavior professional may help you sort this out.
