A member asked:

I have a 6 year old, grade 1 who is not concentrating in class as per feedback from teacher. they want her to see a occupational therapist, what signs should i be looking out for to know my child needs help?

Signs ?: The issue of attending to task/task completion is one an experienced teacher will know by comparing the issue to those of other students their age. To them it is as easy as comparing the heights of different students. You may see this reflected in lack of task completion at home, but it is usually not obvious. If occupational therapists are the testing source in your country this seems routine.
