Ridiculous Claim: There is absolutely no research supporting that claim by your speech therapist. Thus there is no known " right" dose! it should only be true.

No proof; won't hurt: There are stories about this on the internet, but no established data. Conflicting data suggests maybe marginal benefit in some children with adhd. However, some of these helpful fatty acids can't hurt. I would do it through diet: whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, olive oil & freshly ground flax seed (you can add the last two to lots of foods) . Dose for kids hasn't been established.

A study in 2009 : suggested a slight + effect, but I have not seen it replicated, although McGill University started a study in 2012. Safe doses have not been established for toddlers. It's important to have her Early Intervention program test overall development & to seek Early Childhood Special Education services thru your school district at 3. Even an isolated expressive language delay confers risk of dyslexia.
