Diagnosis/ treatment: Speech & language therapists assist the rest of your health care team in sorting through the causes and treatment of speech/language delay.There can be developmental delays that need assistance to maximize outcome.There can be hearing deficits that they will help sort out. The speech mechanism and its integration with actual performance is complex. Just waiting for it to get better can loose a lot
