A member asked:

Continuously positive ana with autoimmune symptoms, but all specific tests negative?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ANA: A positive ANA alone is nonspecific and a rheumatologist is best qualified to evaluate your history, system review and physical findings and only then determine its significance. More testing may be advised, also. Your symptoms may not be caused by an autoimmune disorder.
