Poss Urgent Care app: You may consider a visit to an urgent care office so they can check for blood in your urine to further bolster the diagnosis of renal stone. Also they should give you a strainer so you can catch the bugger if it passes. A urinalysis would also help exclude infection. They may give you more powerful pain control meds. Keep drinking fluids.

I'm on bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and diamox. Both can contribute to kidney stone formation. If i drink a gallon of water or more a day will this reduce the risk?
