28yr old husband was on flomax (tamsulosin) for a kidney stone 3 weeks ago. now he can't last very long in the bedroom. normal side effect and will it go away soon?

Expect resolve: Since his machinery was presumably working fine before the stone, and now off meds, would expect this to return to baseline.

Drug effect unlikely: Use of Flomax (tamsulosin) may enhance kidney stone passage. Flomax (tamsulosin) should not be affecting ejaculation after 48 hours from the last dose. Flomax (tamsulosin) has the potential side effect of delaying ejaculation. If your husband had that experience and was unaware of the side effect, it may have created anxiety which can be affect ejaculation, particularly premature ejaculation. Communication and education may help.
