A member asked:

Do i have tonsil stones? spotted tiny white spots, i get bad breath, a sore throat and thick mucus in my throat where i constantly have to clear it.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tiny white spots: Probably not tonsil stones. However, any white lesions in the mouth/throat of longer than 2 weeks duration should be investigated. If white spots on tonsils or back of throat, see your General Physician for exam and to evaluate mucous. If white spots in oral cavity see your Dentist to evaluate and to address your bad breath. You may have to see both.
