Probably no cause : Unless you had a positive test for a sexually transmitted microorganism, ( by culture, PCR or other reliable method) you probably have no cause for alarm. A Gram stain test of a Pap smear sample is not a standard screening test for sexually transmitted infections; it is rarely used for that purpose. Gonorrhea may be one exception.
