A member asked:

I have 2 brown recluse bites, both turned into lg blisters. 1 popped. is it better to air it out or keep it covered with bacatracin and bandaids?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Recluse spider: Recluse spider bites usually lead to severe ulcerated wounds. It is recommended that you have these bites evaluated and treated by an emergency room physician or wound specialist. In the meantime keep that opened blister clean, dry, and protected with a coating of bacitracin, cover with a gauze and tape the gauze preferably with paper tape.
