What are water blisters & why am i getting them? they started just on my bottom lip but had one on my top lip yesterday which was quite big. is popping them like i do the right way of dealing with them?

Viral infection: The collection of symptoms you describe point very clearly to a viral infection as the most likely cause. If they are multiple small blisters than come and go rather than one area on the outer lip which lasts a long time, then it is unlikely to be the herpes virus (cold sore virus). The good news is that these will run their course by themselves and don't require any specific treatment.

?viral infection: May be viral or aphthous/stress ulcers. Some are treatable if caught early enough such as coldsores some are not but if viral resolve with time. Best to see GP as will need examination to make the right diagnosis and decide re treatment
